5 Star Plus Retail Design was tasked with creating a Heineken bar and restaurant design as part of a tender project of HMSHost for Beijing Daxing International Airport. A key vision for the design revolved around upholding Heineken’s brand identity, which was weaved in through incorporating their trademark logo as well as the use of green around the bar area. Divided into two separate areas, the bar adopts an industrial style that is both fashionable and simple and the restaurant area represents a brighter and more open space. These design concepts were sewn together to attract different crowds at the airport whilst still promoting distinct Heineken brand values.
